Book Reviews

Why review books you ask? Well I’ll leave that to the experts to answer. I periodically review books as a way to engage more deeply with emerging scholarship and get a book (of course!). It started out during my PhD but I’ve continued the practice and would suggest exploring book reviews as a way to slow down and read deep.

I have reviewed books for LSE Review of Books, New Asia Books, Global Policy, among others and served as Book Reviews Editor with Progress in Development studies for three years (2017-2020).

If I was more tech-savvy, the book covers would link to the reviews themselves, but I’m figuring it out, bear with me šŸ™‚
